The comics are overrated as hell tbh. I find the show better but the good episodes are few and far between. Hopefully that changes with the new showrunner.

I like the TV series, a lot I wont lie. The game just didn't get a lot of my attention. I was expecting to lay down and cry like a lil bitch, but I didn't, so something was wrong

The comics are overrated as hell tbh. I find the show better but the good episodes are few and far between. Hopefully that changes with the new showrunner. Rick essentially goes "WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER!" Carl is a idiot, Ricks wife is a bitch, Shane was a asshole who shouldn't have lived that long, and the rest of the group are retarded. I only say the comic is better because Shane dies quickly in it. |

The show is flawed, in my opinion, mainly because of the characters. None of the motivations/actions of the characters make any sense. In any given moment, they usually decide to do the stupidest things. Run at obvious times that they shouldn't. Go to places/do things that are obviously dumb to do. Generally, they just don't seem like real people to me. One of the most glaring examples of this (and the reason why I stopped watching the show, it was that baffling) was when Glenn and Maggie see Merl and hold a gun up to him. Glenn has already been established as really skilled at most things, and he was never once portrayed as a coward or anything like that. He's brave and reliable. Yet, at this moment, his gun trained on Merl, he allows him to reach back for his gun, pull it out, and start shooting at them. What does he do? Does he shoot? .... .... ....
NOPE! He just runs away. Because that makes sense. He was standing 4 feet away from Merl and it took Merl like 3 seconds to pull his gun out. Glenn had plenty of time to shoot and we expect his character to do so, ESPECIALLY when protecting Maggie. But nope, he doesn't shoot and instead allows himself to be captured by somebody HE WAS HOLDING A GUN ON AT POINT BLANK RANGE. It's just obvious weird things like this that ruined the show for me.

She's just a dumb bitch in the show. And yeah Shane was an asshole but he's an asshole that would survive in that kinda world. The thing that upsets me about the comics is they jump around a lot and the artwork feels like a bad storyboard for the show. |
