Dude, I'm during a fucking marathon! From Season 1 to 8! Just to catch up! I get so distracted! I've been trying to watch this one movie for 4 days now :/ Lol, ya, good luck with Supernatural! Each Season besides the 3, is around 22 episodes each, and around 41 minutes each episode...I've been on this Marathon for about a week, and I'm only halfway through Season 3.

I share my account with friends and family, so someone has watched a few of the episodes before I have.

It was actually suppose to be the Series' final season too...fans have saved a lot of things in this show, from Castiel (He was suppose to been killed off 2 different times), to even the show it's self...I'm actually hoping they stop listening to fans, I want them to end the show either this season or the next. Very few shows can live for this long, before they start losing their magic.

Good, I hate seeing good shows end, but it's better they do so before nobody cares anymore... How I Meet Your Mother is one of the shows that went just a little too long, and I don't want this show to go down that path.

Supernatural should have ended at season 5 lol, I can't believe they went way beyond it. I kinda spoiled the series and I would not have been happy with that ending at all. Too much of nothing comes out of it, it's either a sad ending, or a happy ending, just a "Thats-that" ending. Too much of a cop-out ending, although they did write the entire season as the final season (The show got too popular near it's end for it to just end for the station), they did bad for how Dean and Sam end. It is too simple just put it that way, more seasons give them more time to come up with a better ending, which probably won't happen since endings are usually the hardest things not to make bad, on par with the beginnings. Plus if I'm not mistaken, the show has been getting more and more popular each season? My friends even commented to me that the show gets better with each season, which right now being on Season 5, I'm incline to agree with...if I didn't spoil the show for myself, I would of dropped it after season 1 or 2. I pushed past that to get to see Castiel, and to see Crowley (Both of whom my friends say I will absolutely love, Crowley being the ones my friends told me I will definitely love.) No matter how much I don't tell people, they tend to know I like the asshole sarcastic types, which is why I like Dean...I also tend to have a soft spot for villains.

It took them a while to get back on track, season 6 was incredibly bland but I would have rather seen this show make an early exit. I stopped watching season 8 coz I lost interest in the overarching plot so I don't know how good that is, I might go back and see how that played out.

Can't be much worse then Season 1...that was sooooooo boring, I even started being a critic and complaining about all the useless episodes that were in it. You could skip around during Season 1 and still understand everything going on...same could be said for a few of the other seasons, but 1 had the most pointless episodes.

I actually liked the show more when it was a "monster of the week" type of deal, so maybe you will enjoy the seasons coming up way more than I did. Still a good show, just feels like they're dragging their heels.

Go after that villain and kill everything in your way!" type deal, I really don't care about the monsters that don't add anything to the story, just a filler, only fillers I like are the ones like the Siren where they explain the brother's relationship with each other, although those are pretty pointless since they are not usually address afterwards unless the monster is actually a main monster. I prefer my stories being more of a straight line, with a little extra here and there, it's usually the reason why I leave shows early and never return, mainly animes.

I prefer the one-offs with American television since they format their shows in such a way that they can carry on forever. There's always a dip in quality when they try and bring focus to the narrative with no end in sight, like with X-Files, lol. Foreign shows do it right, they often have a complete series that is neatly wrapped up at the end. Perfect example of this, the Danish version of The Killing wrapped up the murder at the end of series 1 while the American remake carried the murder into season 2. Ugh. Either way it's kind of hard to top what they did in season 5 so I'm surprised they recovered, and I'm happy they did coz a couple of the best episodes of the show take place afterwards.

See, when a show gets too out of the focus of the narrative, I loss interest in the show, or when everything just gets way too much of one thing, like True Blood, I'm probably not going back for another season because they are just focusing on being all mellow-dramatic with everything. Once something gets too Soap-Opreaish I will not go back. So having a pointless episode in Supernatural is fine (Since it is usually the funny episodes) but when a show gets filled with episodes that have no point to the actual story, I will not be happy. For sure if it's a weekly show, since I waited a week for nothing. So far the only shows that have been everything well enough that I enjoy every second I watch it have been, Game of Thrones and American Horror Story, they a dramas, but they know a good balance.
